PAT Holds Educational and Employment Cooperation Meeting with the Kingdom of Cambodia

On January 27, 2024, Panyapiwat Institute of Technology (PAT) representatives, led by Mr. Wichian Niamnom, the Authorized Representative and Director of the College, along with Mr. Sonthaya Wangsiriwech, Managing Director of CP All Cambodia, Dr. Chatphimuk Apinanchotisakul, Director of Collaboration Management and Business Development, Mr. Vorachet Thammavong, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Mr. Yod Yaowajaturas, Operations Manager of Cambodia, CP Retailink Co., Ltd., met with His Excellency Mr. Kol Peng Vathana, Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and senior officials including:

1. Dr. Hong Kimcheang, Director
2. Dr. Harth Bunhe, Deputy Director
3. Mr. Thon Sopheak, Chief of Personnel Office
4. Mr. Heng Hourthcheng, Deputy Chief of Quality Assurance Office
5. Mr. Mon Chhengmean, Head of Electrical Engineering Department
6. Ms. Sun Nayseang, Deputy Head of Electrical Engineering Department

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia to discuss educational collaboration. Four key cooperation strategies were established:

1. Development and implementation of dual vocational education projects to promote career advancement and long-term sustainability.
2. Collaboration on curriculum development that integrates theoretical knowledge and practical work experience within enterprises.
3. Promotion of professional skill development through partnerships with enterprises in Cambodia and Thailand.
4. Establishment of a timeline for the official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Both parties reached a consensus on these four points and committed to expediting the agreed-upon actions within the specified timeframe to benefit all educational sectors involved.
